Marriage & Family Therapist
MEd, LMFT, LPC
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional counselor. I work with couples or families in conflict that need help breaking down barriers in communication, the goal would be to work as a unit to overcome obstacles and break unhealthy patterns. I am able to help individuals in the same way to overcome the obstacles that are in the way of their wellness.
I work with families and couples to find common ground and open up lines of communication. I help them find ways to connect and break cycles. I use a lot of strength building and mindfulness to help clients move past stress, and emotions that tend to close down our ability to be present.
I look forward to working with you towards common goals and a brighter future
Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
Play Therapy Certified
MEd, LMFT-Associate, LPC-Associate
I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, families, and children navigate life's challenges and discover their inner strengths. I prefer a holistic approach to therapy, dedicated to helping you to build stronger ties, improve communication, and resolve conflicts constructively. As a relationship therapist, I work with repairing the bonds in the systems that make up our connections.
I earned my graduate degree from Sam Houston State University and hold dual associate licensures in Texas for both Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Counseling. In my time as a therapist, I have had the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds through various issues, including anxiety and panic attacks, depression, couples therapy, and personal growth.
I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy, you or your family can be empowered to develop practical strategies for overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
My work also includes child counseling through Play Therapy. This developmentally appropriate approach for children ages 3-11, allows them to process emotions, work through challenges, and express themselves using creative activities and play.
